TfGM is looking to establish a contract via the Competitive Flexible Procedure, for the refresh of optioneering (ES3 Option Selection Reports) and completion of outline design (ES4 Form A) - referred to as 'Stage 1' and the completion of detailed design (ES5 Form B) and further, construction (ES6-8) - referred to as "Stage Two" of rail station enhancement projects.
These stations will be funded under the Department for Transport's (DfT) and "City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS)".
The project involves up to three Access for All solutions for stations within Greater Manchester: Broadbottom, Hall 'ith Wood and Moorside (called AfA T5).
The AfA T5 Projects at Hall'ith Wood, Broadbottom and Moorside comprise of a combination of new wayfinding, lifts, footbridges and ramp improvements to ensure step free access from station entrance to platform with all associated enabling works.
There is also potential for this requirement to cover similar AfA minor enhancements to other stations.
