Wakefield Council intends to commission an overnight short break provision for adults with learning disabilities and or Autism to have pre-booked overnight stays away from home.
The Service will operate seven days per week / 365 days per year and will be provided within two Council owned 4-bed residential units ('the Service').
One unit is located in Normanton and the other is in the Thornes Park area of Wakefield.
The Short Breaks Service will be required to meet the needs of service users and families / carers in a personalised way and support our Council and Adult Social Care priorities.
