CN260767 RFQ - Kent County Council Tobacco Control Strategy
This sits below the typical range for Health & Social Care contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
KCC requires a suitable provider to: •Produce a local Kent-based Tobacco Control Strategy, in line with the national Tobacco Control Plan, with the aim of reducing smoking prevalence in Kent (especially among high smoking prevalence groups).
This will require strategic recommendations to reduce the take up of smoking (prevention), increase the number of referrals into stop smoking services and support legislation locally, where applicable, to support a Smokefree generation. •Develop a comprehensive Action Plan aligned to the strategy that delivers SMART objectives and outcomes for a range of Kent partners to sign up to.
Partners will have an opportunity to further shape and co-design the action plan once a Kent Tobacco Control Alliance has been formed by the KCC Public Health Department after the life of this contract.
