Prior Information Notice (PIN) and Market Engagement for the procurement of Cadaveric Simulation Courses in the East of England, for doctors in training - NHS/SoEPS/19.546
NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the delivery of cadaveric simulation courses.
The activity is intended to supplement the current simulation training available in the East of England, and we expect to be assessing applications from a wide range of organisations.
Whilst the contract may be won by a single organisation, we will also consider awarding multiple smaller contracts if the bids evidence that this will allow greater value for money and equity of access across the region.
Whilst the activity we are procuring must be delivered within the East of England, we welcome bids from all organisations.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.
We also plan to hold a Market Engagement session in Cambridge at Victoria House, Capital Park, Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5XB on the 25th February 2020 from 10:00 - 13:00.
This will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and contracts, the process involved as well as network with others.
HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers which may influence the final tender.
Please RSVP by Tuesday 18th February 2020 with the name, title and contact details for attendees (a maximum of two attendees per organisation) to: Sophie Chambers Account Manager - Faculty Support Team Directorate of Education and Quality E. sophie.chambers@hee.nhs.uk The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.
It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
The ITT is expected to be published mid to late April 2020.
A separate advert will be released advising of this.
