Works to start on site ASAP to make use of better working conditions.
Phase 1 completed in July 2024 .
Phase 2 target start date 7th October 2024.
Works involved installation of 150m linear length Anchored sheet pile wall with deviation around concession buildings.
Sheet pile lengths between 9.5-10 metres.
Rock anchors on every In-pan length of anchors 18m.
Phase 2 is 3 types of pile design, for the remaining length of wall around 2 standing concessions, and one area where the concession has been removed.
They will tie into Phase 1 works to the East, and a slipway to the west.
The area will need to be made good post works, and handrailing installed.
A set of steps is also proposed.
We are proposing Tied, cantilever and anchored designs, all using the same pile section (of which 43 piles are to be supplied by the client (on site))
