Christchurch and East Dorset Council
Decommission of 9 Play Parks
Christchurch Borough Council currently has 28 Play areas.
The outcome of a recent review has resulted in the Council looking to rationalise its offer by closing smaller sites that are underused, offer minimal play value and have reached end of life.
Christchurch Borough Council is looking to decommission 9 of the existing 28 Play areas, this will entail removal and disposal of all play structures, associated furniture, safety surfacing, access gates, site signage and bins.
The sites will be reinstated to amenity grassland or equivalent.
