Tree Surgery Works and Associated Services Framework

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) is planning on tendering in the coming months to putin place a framework for its tree surgery and tree management requirements.

RBWM is therefore issuing thisprior information notice to request expressions of interest from experienced tree surgery contractors who maybe interested in tendering for a place on this potential framework.

RBWM contains significant areas of open and green space and woodlands play a vital role in defining RBWM asa "Green Borough".

In addition RBWM has an extensive highways network along which there are in excess of40 000 trees.

RBWM is also responsible for 100 publicly accessible sites comprising of parks, open spaces, andcemeteries, may of which contain a high proportion of trees.

The priority of RBWM is therefore to protect andappropriately manage the existing resource and the aim of the planned framework is to help achieve this.

To register your interest please email procurement@rbwm.gov.uk by 17:00 on 16.5.2019 providing brief detailsof your organisation.

In response to your organisations expression of interest RBWM will send you a shortmarket questionnaire providing you with more information on RBWM and its current estate as well as asking yousome brief questions which will help RBWM in shaping the upcoming framework to the benefit of all interestedparties.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead will publish any subsequent tender on The Public SectorProcurement Portal - https://public.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html Suppliers interested in tendering for a place on this anticipated framework are advised to register and setthemselves up on The Public Sector Procurement Portal.

Details of how to do this are as follows: - register your company on the eSourcing portal (this is only required once), - browse to the eSourcing Portal https://public.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html and click the link to register, - accept the terms and conditions and click "continue", - enter your correct business and user details, - note the username you chose and click "Save" when complete, - you will shortly receive an email with your unique password (please keep this secure).
