The brief

The Corporate Officer of the House of Lords and the Corporate Officer of the House of Commons, acting jointly (the Authority).

The Authority wishes to contract with a potential supplier for the provision of the Supply, Installation and Maintenance of PSIM Equipment and Control Room Relocation.

The Works is the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of a physical security information system (PSIM) in a mission-critical security control room that operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

The Works include the provision of the PSIM complete with all servers and switchgear, operator workstation computers, software, video wall monitors, additional display monitors, third party software development kits (SDKs), upgrade of the local area network (LAN) and interfaces with the corporate LAN.

All equipment, software and licences are to be new.

It also includes the management of and the actual migration from the existing control room to the control room provided as part of the Works.

Expressions of interest are now invited from economic operators , who will be required to sign a non- disclosure agreement and complete a security questionnaire prior to being issued with the procurement documentation which will be issued upon the Authority's receipt of the expression of interest.
