Harborough District Council is committed to high quality leisure provision and currently operates two facilities at Market Harborough and Lutterworth; the contract for delivery of the service comes to an end on 31 March 2019 and the Council is seeking to appoint a new partner for continued provision of the leisure services from 1 April 2019.
The Council is seeking to deliver investment in its facilities and in particular this includes •Development of a new facility in Market Harborough to replace the existing facility •Investment in Lutterworth Sports Centre to improve its commerciality It is the intention of the Council to enter into a Design, Build, Operate and Maintain (DBOM) contract for the proposed developments.
