The brief

The supply of 75 Semi-Mature, rootballed Quercus robur trees, 25-30cm girth.

Minimum height 5m.

As per British Standard BS 3936-1 Nursery Stock Specification for Trees and Shrubs.

Tree must be of a high quality and uniform as they will be planted to create an avenue.

Quote to include delivery to a site within Birmingham as directed by the Council.

Due to the size of the trees in is expected that three deliveries will be required.

There are no height restrictions.

Delivery time to be agreed with the council between 7am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

Trees will be off loaded by the council.

Trees will be inspected upon delivery by a council Tree Officer.

This contract will be for a period of one month commencing February 2022 until March 2022.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
