Laser speed detection devices with video overlay are hand held devices that when pointed at a moving object/vehicle it will use pulses of light to calculate the speed of that object/vehicle, the video overlay captures a short video clip of the detection vehicle and records the same for evidential purposes.
These devices are a portable version of the equipment currently used in camera safety vans.
The contract is for an initial 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years on a 2 +1 +1 basis.
