Several of these projects are linked to the procurement of a New Polar Research Vessel (NPRV) which enters service in late 2019 and the ongoing refurbishment of the UK's main Antarctic station at Rothera.
Others are part of the ongoing upgrade and operational efficiency programme being driven by BAS.
