The brief

South West London Pathology, hosted by St.

George's Healthcare NHS Trust, gives notice of their intention to procure a Cellular Pathology solution involving all disciplines based at the St.

George's hub site.

South West London Pathology is looking for a single MSP that covers all aspects of Cellular Pathology.

Any solution must incorporate a lean methodology of working with a high degree of flexibility and automation.

Innovative solutions are strongly encouraged The proposed equipment must be able to meet the current workloads within normal working hours of an extended working day (08:00-19:00) with capacity to increase these by 5% per annum for the duration of the contract.

The overall package to be provided must enable a larger throughput of samples, with less hands-on requirements, whilst providing equivalent or better sensitivity & specificity than currently available, without compromising quality.

It must be backed up with a fully comprehensive, rapid response maintenance contract and enhanced IT middleware capability as well as other aspects set out in this document.

South West London Pathology was formally established 1.4.2014 and its members currently comprise of: Croydon Health ServicesNHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St.

George's Healthcare NHS Trust.
