KMCAS-165 Go Kirklees - Great Opportunities Grant Management
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Other Community & Personal Services band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 5,835 valued Other Community & Personal Services tenders in our corpus.
Quotations are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for a Delivery Partner who will identify Community groups / local grass root organisations who may benefit from Go Kirklees - Great Opportunities.
To work with them on their grant application and if successful in obtaining funding, support them to ensure they deliver on their outputs and outcomes.
Go Kirklees is a new pilot programme to Kirklees made up of three strands: 1.
Provide support to Community / grass root organisations to apply for grant funding to deliver a range of short, varied and engaging pre-engagement activities targeting residents aged 15 to 24 who are NEET and who struggle to engage with mainstream learning and employability programmes.
2.
Support for Community / grass root organisations to upskill themselves in Information Advice and Guidance for young people to enable them to help our young people progress into more formal programmes.
This strand includes small development grants for example to improve digital connectivity.
3.
This is underpinned by an Action research programme to evaluate the programme, allowing us to review the approaches and techniques to engage our hard to reach groups and inform future programmes.
This research will be shared with delivery partners and funders.
This contract is anticipated to commence on 6th September 2021 and will expire on 31st March 2022.
