The brief

Hertsmere Borough Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to design and install a new splash park in Meadow Park, Borehamwood It is a requirement of this contract that the new facility is open for the summer of 2022.

A target date of the start of the 27 May 2022 to be ready for the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday School half-term and to coincide with the opening of our existing splash park at King George Recreation Ground in Bushey, should be considered.

The Council will pay in full an additional sum of 2.5% of the contract value if this date is successfully met.

Considering other factors such as services connections, materials and weather, a programme of delivery prior to the start of the summer school holidays on 22 July will be the worst case scenario expectation and contractors will need to demonstrate that they are able to meet at least this deadline.

Please note the deadline for returns and allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted.
