The brief

The purpose of the RtI funding is to provide specialist advice, guidance and/or support to SWCTN members in order to enable the sustainable growth of their business practice, focusing on four priority areas: • Legal Services • Accountancy Services • Intellectual Property • Access to Finance We are therefore seeking applications from Professional Services Organisations (PSO) who are capable of delivering at least one or more of the services outlined above.

Those PSO will be required to provide a professional services package that includes all of the elements outlined below.

It is also important that applicants consider how they can deliver their services to SWCTN members whose practice may not present typical business challenges and who may need support sympathetic to how people work in the creative industries.

Further information section: Applicants must illustrate how they would do this and offer any previous examples of undertaking in such a way. - Online resources and tools that enable SWCTN members to self-assess and/or undertake initial measures in improving their business practice. - A free 30 minute initial consultation to be delivered either in person or over the phone. - An initial survey for SWCTN members to help profile their business practice and identify the support needed. - Attend in 5 x RtI events held over a year and across the geography of the South West (Falmouth, Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol and Bath).

These events will be designed for SWCTN members to attend a presentation, a workshop and a surgery delivered by a PSO in each of the priority subjects.

The surgeries will allow SWCTN members to book 1:1 slots to address specific matters relating to their business activities.

These events will be facilitated by SWCTN staff and held at SWCTN partner venues. - A discounted rate for any SWCTN members requiring future support beyond this package. - Provide this support over one calendar year starting June 2019. - Provide this package for no more than £9.5K (inc VAT) per priority service.
