The stations have been selected on the basis of: a) South Bank and North Road stations are identified as the two remaining stations in Tees Valley which have no form of step free access and therefore are the highest priority, and b) Redcar Central is a scheme identified in the CRSTS programme and securing of this additional AfA funding will enable the identified CRSTS funding to be reallocated to delivery other station enhancements / accessibility improvements.
