The brief

This is not a call for competition.

The Council is inviting you to attend a market engagement event for the new Children's Advocacy contract.

The event will be held online through Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 14th February 2024 at 2 - 3pm.

We are looking for an organisation to provide an Advocacy service that focuses on improving outcomes for Children Looked After and Care Leavers by enabling them to make their voices heard and providing them a range of opportunities to be involved in planning and review of services.

The two service components include: o Advocacy for Children Looked After & Care Leavers - the intention being to resolve a specific problem or concern and help the young person move on and avoid creating a dependency for ongoing support. o Child Protection Advocacy - supporting children 11 plus to participate in their child protection conference (CPC).

The advocacy service will enable children to be involved in decisions around child protection planning; support the child to attend ICPCs and Reviews and/or make representations on their behalf.

Please register your interest by using the messaging area in attending the engagement event by submitting your organisation name, delegate name, email address and job title, then we can send you the link to our Microsoft teams event.
