Framework for Commercial Unit Refurbishment (including the Victoria Centre) including Call Off Contract for Unit F16-20

Southend Borough Council is carrying out this procurement exercise in the form of an Open Tender for the Provision of Commercial Unit Refurbishment Works (at the Victoria Centre, Southend on Sea) under a Framework Agreement, "the Framework", in order to appoint individual Framework Contractors to Call Off Contracts, "the Contracts", for each Refurbishment Job required under the Framework.

This competition will establish the award of the Call Off Contract for the Refurbishment of Unit F16-20. "the Contract".

The unit, which is over 7,000 sq ft, is currently a bare concrete shell and requires works to enable tenant fit out.

The procurement will see the highest scoring tenderers appointed to the Framework for future mini-competitions for Commercial Unit Refurbishment where required.

The Council intend to appoint 4-6 Suppliers to the Framework Agreement but reserve the right to appoint more or fewer as it sees fit or to appoint none at all.
