The proposal is to create a new, sinuous path from Victoria Walk through to the existing entrance of the History of the Rose Garden.
New planting beds will then be created along this path to group the regenerated wild roses closer together and explain their history and characteristics to visitors.
The main route will be surfaced with a resin bound gravel to match that of The Great Boardwalk Borders at RBG Kew.
A narrower, secondary path will wind its way through existing trees which support climbing roses within more naturalistic planting.
All paths will be set on a free draining,cellular confinement system using a no dig approach adjacent to trees.
Surrounding soil will be graded up to meet the levels of the new paths.
