The brief

The Informatics Strategy (2014-2019) for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust has identified the deployment of an electronic Order Communications (OCS) solution as one of its key objectives.

Therefore, The Trust is calling for expressions of interest to this Prior Information Notice from suitably qualified organisations to supply and implement an Order Communication System (OCS).

The Trust is looking to deploy OCS to support both clinical and supportive care services.

The ideal vendor will: • Offer extensive proven experience of implementing an NHS compliant OCS system in the UK; • Have extensive and proven experience of developing order communications solutions for both clinical and supportive care services. • Have an established track record of customer focused attitude to providing support (ITIL compliance) and timely issue resolution; • Have proven track record for timely on site delivery and implementation; The vendor is expected to bring several areas of expertise and resources to the contract: • Dedicated testing resources and a rigorous quality assurance processes • Helpdesk support (e.g.

ITIL based) with full Service Level Agreement within agreed service credits; • Proven experience in system integration via HL7 messaging and application interoperability; Interested organisations are invited to express their interest in this potential opportunity by contacting Bala Sridhar via email at: bala.sridhar@christie.nhs.uk before 23 Sept 2016.
