Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council
Equality Impact Assessment for drugs and alcohol - AWARD
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council seeks to commission an independent organisation to undertake an Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA) of local drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services.
The assessment will explore how effectively current provision meets the needs of people with protected characteristics, identify gaps, and make evidence-based recommendations to improve access, outcomes, and equity.
The work will involve quantitative and qualitative research, including data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and consultation with people in treatment, treatment-naïve populations, families, professionals, and community groups.
The provider will produce a comprehensive final report with findings and recommendations by April 2026.
The contract value is up to £20,000 (ex VAT) and will run for approximately five months
