The brief

Manchester is reviewing its Local Plan and to inform this work is seeking to commission a hotels study to inform the development of policies in the Local Plan.

This will complement a retail and leisure study that has already been commissioned.

Manchester City Council is seeking to establish an evidence base for the Local Plan which helps develop policies reflecting the changing nature of leisure and be robust and flexible enough to take account of further changes to 2040.

Manchester City Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to undertake a City-wide Hotel Study, covering the period to 2040 and are seeking expressions of interest to carry out this work.
