Leicestershire County Council Lift Replacement Scheme
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Construction band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
The Council is preparing to replace four passenger lifts at its Penn Lloyd building that serve as the Client's main offices and headquarters.
The original lifts have had a number of "face lifts" over the years; however, the infrastructure is broadly unchanged from when the offices were constructed in 1966.
Following appointment of a consultant to write the performance specification, the Council seeks to run a further competition under Lot 3 of the Fusion21 Lifts Framework (https://www.fusion21.co.uk/frameworks-lifts) for a contractor to design & replace the lift infrastructure.
