The brief

The Police and Crime Commissioner of Dyfed Powys is seeking to engage with a Contractor for the supply and installation of uninterrupted power supply (UPS).

The scope of the work is: • Supply and install temporary 3phase UPS supply to cover the period of installation and commissioning of the new UPS.

Temporary UPS to have same capacity as existing system.

Allow for supply and install of all electrical supply cables from electrical room and removal upon completion.

Make good any disturbed surfaces inclusive of décor. • Decommission and remove extant UPS equipment and dispose from site of all redundant items, in accordance with Hazardous Waste Procedures with provision for Certified Waste Transfer documentation. • Supply and install new 3 phase Modular 100KvA/90Kw N + 1 system with 30 minute overrun in accordance with current legislation and Safety Standards.

Allow for associated wiring and full commissioning.

UPS to be fitted with Network Card to enable remote access for fault diagnosis, alerts and remote shut down of UPS. • Install wall mounted 200A 4 pole for maintenance by-pass switch to allow for maintenance to system.

Allow for making good disturbed surfaces and decorating. • Supply of Building Manual (electronic and hard copy) to include As Installed Drawings, User Guidelines and Safety Information etc. • Issue Certificates to BS7671 for new and altered electrical cabling works.
