Safeguarding Children from Exploitation Training Courses

Torbay Council has, through a competitive process, entered into a contract with a training provider to delivery a suite of training courses specific to Child Exploitation (CE), the training will be delivered to Torbay Council Children's Social Care, Education, Police and Health staff.

There are four distinct courses which Torbay Council envisage making up the full suite of training required; these are: • Recognising and Responding to Child Sexual Exploitation • Recognising and Responding to Child Criminal Exploitation • Understanding Modern Slavery and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM); and • Understanding the Importance of Children and Young People Who Go Missing.
