The brief

This contract will provide employment law services and advice as follows: (a) Support by legal professionals specialising in employment law to provide ad hoc urgent legal advice, ongoing advice on specific cases, paralegal support for cases, legal assistance in advance of and during Employment Tribunal claims and, where applicable, representation before the Employment Tribunal. (b) Support by a legally qualified independent investigator to conduct workplace investigations where conflicts arise or the matter concerns a particularly sensitive or complex issue, including for time-sensitive cases (grievances, appeals and whistleblowing matters). (c) Provision of training to small groups of SIA staff to support the effective in-house handling of workplace investigations and witness familiarisation training prior to attendance at Employment Tribunals.
