The brief

The Purchaser is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for the establishment of a single-lot framework agreement to support Lancaster University with small scale AV Events on site and in City of Lancaster region.

Secondly, either alternatively or jointly, inviting response to provide small scale AV installs on site.

Framework Operation The framework will contain a number of suppliers.

This will be dependent on the number and quality of suitable applicants to be a part of this framework.

Any framework awarded will start on or around 8th May 2023.

The framework will run for an initial period of 4 years, this will be subject to annual reviews and successful performance by the supplier.

All appointments to the framework will be reviewed both annually and on completion of each project.

Appointment to the framework will not guarantee work.

It is envisaged that any work package released will be awarded as follows: 1.

An email will be sent to framework suppliers outlining the type of work and the dates/timescales for completion.

Suppliers will need to be respond quickly with price and availability as often this type of work is last minute and quick turnaround.

The framework may evolve into including a direct award element, once operational for a period of time, to account for the last minute nature of the work packages.

As part of the annual reviews, Lancaster University reserves the right to allow to changes to the framework to allow for removal of suppliers on the framework which may include but not limited to, changes to company names, mergers and acquisitions and/or suppliers going out of business.

This is to ensure the integrity and longevity of the framework.
