The brief

The Works comprise the removal of approximately 2/3 of the ceilings within Building 10 to remove residual asbestos contamination trapped within small voids between the lath and plaster ceilings and plasterboard applied subsequently.

Removal of loft insulation and asbestos residue has previously been undertaken, but it has been found that there remain some asbestos residues trapped within the Lath and plaster ceiling in voids between the L&P and the plasterboard overlay.
