The brief

1860/363/MY/CTI/17 Optical Emission Spectrometer System The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for an Optical Emission Spectrometer System on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement: The University of Sheffield are looking to replace the existing Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) within the castings group of the AMRC.

The conduct melting of a wide variety of alloys and hence the machine must be suitable for the analysis of a large number of different alloys.

Accuracy of the instrument is considered paramount, with the results frequently being used in high value research activities.

Tender Process and Documentation: This procurement is a non EU open procedure carried out in accordance with the Regulations ( Public Contracts Regulations 2015).
