Get into Teaching Information Service
The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) anticipates that in early 2017 it will look to commence a procurement exercise for delivery of an advisory service to people who are interested in becoming a teacher or in returning to the profession in England.
The main purpose of the service is to convert people’s initial interest in teaching into a successful application for Initial Teacher Training (ITT).
We would expect the supplier to offer a service that provides: • An initial point of contact and advice • Tailored 1:1 support to eligible candidates in priority subject areas. • A flexible CRM programme to encourage and support people to apply for ITT • Support for Train to Teach events and social media activity to support targeted marketing campaigns • Reporting systems to evaluate customer experience and provide a range of management information • An accessible system for schools and candidates to arrange classroom experience This PIN is to instigate early market engagement.
The purpose of the PIN is to provide the market with an overview of the type of services required and to advise that two webinars for suppliers will be held on Thursday 6 October and Wednesday 12 October 2016.
This PIN is not a call for competition and a Contract Notice starting the contract award procedure is expected to be published on the OJEU in January 2017.
NCTL welcomes engagement with a wide range of organisations to explore innovative ways of delivering our objectives to help inform the tender specification.
The webinars will provide opportunities to discuss the business requirements and improve our thinking for any future tender opportunity.
