CSF MOA River Nidd
This sits below the typical range for Research & Development contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 20,405 valued Research & Development tenders in our corpus.
(A) Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) is a partnership project between Natural England, Environment Agency and Defra set up to meet the requirements of the Water Framework Directive.
CSF delivers advice on reducing diffuse water pollution from agriculture to farmers in over 70 priority catchments in England through a network of Catchment Sensitive Farming Officers.
CSF extends its advice programme outside the priority catchments through a series of catchment partnerships (formerly known as regional strategic partnerships) in particular catchments identified by the River Basin District Liaison Panels as being at risk of diffuse water pollution from agriculture.
The partnership covered by this Memorandum will operate within the catchment of the River Nidd, including the upper and the lower Nidd (formerly part of the adjacent Yorkshire Ouse, Nidd and Swale catchment).
