Timber Consultancy Services for the Conservation of HMS Victory
The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is seeking part-time specialist consultancy support for an initial 10 days with the option to extend to allow for up to a maximum of 100 days over 2 years on a task by task basis.
This will be to assist in: - The preparation of timber specifications for tendering. - The timber procurement process.
This may include consideration of partnership working with supplier(s) and a competitive dialogue procurement process. - Implementing the supply chain for timber flow from supplier(s) (forest/sawmills) through the plank manufacturing process and onto the ship.
