The brief

The Secretary of State for Health acting through Public Health England (PHE) also referred to as the 'Authority is seeking expressions of interest in the maintenance of BACTEC 960, BACTEC 9050 and BACTEC FX40 It is mandatory that any expressions of interest should include details of maintenance engineers competency to complete the maintenance/repairs essential to keeping this equipment running and have OEM approved engineer status.

Maintenance and repair of equipment must cover all associated sensor units, computers, laser and associated monitors, printers and UPS.

Emergency visits: Fully Comprehensive and Extended Response Time include unlimited emergency visits, and Preventative Maintenance including 3 emergency visits.

Any supplier must use reasonable endeavours to be at Customer’s site within 8 working hours from receipt of call.
