The purpose of this commission is to develop two Corridor Improvement Plans that review the corridors and identify several Access to Rail packages of interventions for both the Elephant & Bear and West of Worcester lines that will improve people's access to the rail network and improve patronage of the lines, and that can be funded and delivered in the short- to medium-term.
In summary there are three key project outcomes to this commission: 1.
Understanding the travel demand along both corridors.
2.
A Corridor Improvement Plan for the Elephant & Bear line.
3.
A Corridor Improvement Plan for the West of Worcester line.
