The brief

The British Red Cross has a potential requirement for the provision of a Courier Services solution for its Mobility Aids function within the London area only (all London postcodes).

The requirements of these services include: * Collect and deliver commodes and mobility aids from a Red Cross premises located in Crawley and deliver to customers; * Return collection and delivery of the above from customer addresses to a Red Cross premises; * Provide a packaging solution for commodes and mobility aids to ensure their safe transportation and to ensure that the collection and delivery services adheres to Good Industry Practice and all applicable legislation and regulations, as may be amended from time to time; *Provide an online track and trace service and proof of delivery; *A range of delivery options including same day and next day; *Support services including a manned helpdesk and account management.

This is a new service requirement for Red Cross within the London area and, as such, volumes cannot be guaranteed but an indicative figure is 10,000 deliveries per year (5,000 from Red Cross to customer and 5,000 from customer to Red Cross).

Interested parties are required to complete the attached Market Research Pro Forma.

This will be used by the British Red Cross to gather market information and to determine market capability.
