Iconic Café & Function Space on Seaford Seafront - CONSULTATION
In November 2014, Seaford Town Council adopted a Development Plan for an area known as the Salts, which included the potential for an iconic catering facility on the Salts, to supplement the existing activities and proposed community hub / café.
A number of priority projects have been identified, including the opportunity to bring forward an iconic café & function space to act as a catalyst to achieve wider regeneration aims for Seaford Seafront and support the delivery of further projects through the Impact Seaford partnership.
The ambition for this new facility is to retain additional visitor spending within the town, supporting the wider economic growth priorities noted above, whilst offering new facilities for Seaford residents and businesses.
It should enhance the existing seafront landscape.
The Councils wish to undertake an initial preliminary market consultation and ascertain Expressions of Interest from potential developers and operators, with a view to gaining their input and expertise into the design and development of the scheme and to help shape the project to achieve its greatest potential.
The project will cover a considerable range of works, requiring a multi-disciplinary team.
The Councils would be particularly keen to talk to interested parties that have experience in: New build commercial Food & beverage and conferencing facilities Complex sites Iconic destination developments.
