Dates: The scheme needs to be delivered between 2 September 2024 to 18 september 2024 - The scheme is to deliver the following outputs: - Proposed drainage improvement to comprise installation of new carrier pipe in carriageway totalling approx.
125 metres of 225mm twin wall pipe to KCC/HTW/500/051 with type Z concrete surround. - New carrier pipe to connect to existing highway drainage system near junction with Lower Hartlip Road.
Invert level of pipework to be confirmed on site but not expected to exceed average invert of 1.2mBGL. - Along route of new carrier pipe, 3no. new 1200mm catchpits to KCC/HTW/500/001 (Type 2A) to be installed, exact depth to be confirmed on site to suit new pipe invert (with 500mm sump below invert level of lowest pipe) but not expected to exceed 2m overall depth. - 10no. new PCC trapped gullies to KCC/HTW/500/009 with D400 450x450x150 frames to be installed of which 5no are to replace the existing gullies, and all new and replacement gullies to be connected to new carrier pipe with 150mm twinwall pipe with type Z surround, total pipework length of 35m. - All existing pipework from current gullies to be abandoned and capped off at each end.
Gully on Breach Lane to remain, with existing incoming pipe capped off.
Existing outgoing line to remain insitu to provide outfall for the gully. - Manhole in footway opposite Lower Hartlip Road to be renewed (D400 600x450 clear opening).
Manhole in carriageway to be freed up for inspection at junction with Lower Hartlip Road. - Breach Lane to be sided out both sides between Hartlip Hill and Railway bridge to remove excess debris at road edge and prevent pooling of water at the resident's access road. - All reinstatements in accordance with KCC/HTW/700/002 for carriageway road type 1, with all white lining and HFS surfacing to be replaced in the reinstatements.
