Cobalt Housing Ltd (Cobalt) is in the process of developing the tender documentation for the re-procurement of its responsive, void, gas and electrical contracts.
The annual total value is estimated to be in the region of £4.85m per annum.
This figure is split broadly as follows; £3.3m for responsive repairs, void property and major works; £1.4m for 3 star gas servicing and maintenance £145k for electrical testing and remedial works In terms of the volumes of responsive repairs, in 2018/19 22144 orders were raised.
Cobalt has 5934 properties located in Liverpool post Codes L9, L10, L11 and L13.
Cobalt wishes to establish a long term working relationship with incoming contractors which will be reflected in the duration of the contract.
It is our intention to complete this exercise and have in place the new contracts by the 1st November 2020.
As part of this procurement process Cobalt is facilitating a "meet the buyer event" where Cobalt would like to meet with a range of potential partners in order to inform and finalise our official tender process and strategy.
The purpose is to test the market rather than second guess it, so to achieve the best outcome for Cobalt and our potential partners.
The purpose of this document is to allow potential contractors to consider some of the key issues before meeting with us so we make best use of the time.
The key areas for Cobalt include: Packaging of works Cobalt Plus Delivery model Pricing Resident contact arrangements Contractor incentives Contract length Social Enterprise Software integration Added Value Social Value Cobalt is inviting interested parties to attend our open day which will be held on the 28th February 2020 at 10.00am at Croxteth Hall, Croxteth, Liverpool, L11 1EH (postcode will take you to the nearest roundabout at car park entrance) .
The structure of these discussions will be based around our proposed requirements, your experiences in the market and informal Q & A around key areas which are important to Cobalt.
The deadline to express an interest is 21st February 2020.
