ROYAL BERKSHIRE FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE
Provision and Support of an IT Service Desk Solution
Royal Berkshire Fire Authority (the "Authority") is seeking to award a Contract for the provision of a new IT Service Desk.
The Authority currently uses a version of Spiceworks, which is no longer under support.
The IT service has recently been restructured and is seeking to work to ITIL standards and provide a customer focused IT service operating in line with best practice.
The Authority also works in partnership with other Fire Services and requires the solution to be suitable for use in supporting a broader range of service desk services both internally and with other organisations.
It is anticipated that the solution will be hosted within the data centre at RBFRS head quarters.
The Authority s therefore seeking tenders from the market for suitable solutions that will meet the changing needs of the service.
