The EDC seeks to appoint a Supplier to provide expert, professional HR advisory services to support its Executive Team, Director of Corporate Services, Head of HR & Corporate Affairs, Line Managers, and the Chair as required during the life of the contract.
As a small-medium organisation, the EDC has decided not to deliver all HR services in-house and operates a mixed model where the HR function is delivered through in-house expertise and external support.
The DLUHC HR team provide mainly transactional support services (e.g., payroll, new starter preemployment checks), and the EDC occasionally uses other external Suppliers for specialist support related to HR/people matters (e.g., specialist training).
