The brief

Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Borough Council, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Frimley Integrated Care Board are jointly commissioning a Stroke Support Service for East Berkshire.

This service is intended to support any stroke survivor, of all ages, or person who is affected by Transient Ischemic Attack, their families, and carers, who are resident in East Berkshire.

The aims of the Stroke Support Service will be to offer person-centred support both practically and emotionally to rehabilitate survivors, their families, and carers, and to help them understand stroke and reduce the risk of further stroke.

This is a block contract with a duration of 3 years, with options for two 'plus one year' periods i.e.

3+1+1 years.
