The brief

Health Services.

NEL CSU on behalf of Newham Clinical Commissioning Group.

Newham CCG are intending to redesign the Musculoskeletal Service with the aim to transform the integration of current MSK services and to improve the overall experience of MSK episodic and long term patients.

It is anticipated as part of the service transformation services will be delivered closer to the patients’ homes.

The MSK service transformation programme aims to procure a fully integrated MSK service for Newham registered patients which will also include an ‘on-stop’ clinical assessment and treatment service, facilitates patient choice, and promotes better outcomes for patients in terms of quality of life, experience and satisfaction.

The service is envisaged to operate on a pathway approach to MSK services across all services, improve access to community based general and specialist physiotherapy services, minimise hospital based outpatient appointments in acute settings and seeking to deliver outpatient services in appropriate community settings, closer to the patients’ homes Invitation to Bidder Event We are inviting you to a bidders event on the 17th September 2015 from 09.30 am – 1.00 pm at St Marks Community Centre, Beckton, London, E6 5YA (www.stmarkscentre.org) and would like to take this opportunity to encourage all prospective bidders to begin to think about their single entity service delivery consortia, partnerships or prime provider vehicles of delivery - there will in addition be an opportunity for partnering discussions at the bidders event.
