The Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) values the work of the community-led and the grassroots sector in supporting young people.
The VRU has recently launched Stronger Futures - a targeted programme of funding 20 community-led groups across London with £1.2 million of investment to support young Londoners by providing them with opportunities and support in the hours following school and at weekends.
Rocket Science and Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG) have been commissioned to oversee the administration of grants and to support the assessment of applications and the monitoring of the grants awarded and are in the process of assessing applications for programmes to commence in October.
