The brief

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is procuring a framework of providers of a range of specialist locked and unlocked Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Services for male and female patients, on behalf of the Head Commissioner, NHS Nene & NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Groups.

The services will deliver effective, person-centred rehabilitation and recovery to people whose current needs cannot be met by less intensive mainstream adult mental health services in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Service focus will be on enabling people to return to community settings through improving mental health, promoting physical health and developing skills, self-esteem and behaviours, and helping ensure systems and support are in place to reduce risk and to maximise recovery and social inclusion.

Key Principles • Focus on Recovery and Social Inclusion • Service user involvement to achieve person-centred outcomes • Safe, secure care - in a non-institutional setting • Multi-disciplinary staff providing a range of evidence-based treatment and meaningful activities
