The brief

Daventry District Council is looking to construct a new building of circa 870M2 for the provision of offering health rehabilitation services to the local population.

The building will be located within the grounds of the Daventry & District Sport Trust, off Western Avenue, Daventry.

Part of the project will be to extend the existing car park on site to the new building and to resurface the entire car park, although this work will be let under a separate contract and is not within the scope of work for the new building erection.

The scope of work for this tender will be the design and construction of the new building, design and construction of suitable foundations to support the building, including external and internal fit and finish, connections of water and foul is also part of the scope for this contract.

Planning consent has been achieved, however if the tenderer's design deviates from the plans that have secured planning permission, the tenderer should include these activities within their submission.

Any deviations from the provided specification will need to be clearly identified in your tender.

Deviation from specification may be cause for tender rejection.

A budget cap for the project has been set to £900,000.
