Light Vehicle Bodyworks Contract

Sellafield Limited (SL) operate a large fleet of vehicles and mobile plant on the Sellafield site, as part of the fleet management service the in-house transport department provide, SL is looking to tender a contract for light vehicle bodywork repairs and services supporting the fleet maintenance department.

We require a supplier to be able to respond on reactive basis to provide a bodywork/refinishing services to vehicles and small items of plant as highlighted below in the statement of requirements.

The contract length will be 4 years in total.

With work taking place Monday-Friday, although weekend working will be required for important turnaround times.

Statement of Requirements: • To undertake small bodywork repairs on a reactive basis • Repair unreported accident damage to vehicles - scuffs, knocks scrapes - vehicles include - small to large cars, small to large vans, small trailers and minibuses • Windscreen replacements for the full fleet including HGV's • Painting of new parts - air tanks, fuel tanks, shock absorbers, tank straps, brake chambers • Valeting service • Of hire vehicle preparation including dent removal services • Decal Fitment - Fire and Rescue vehicles, escort vehicles • The supplier must be able to provide a collection and delivery service for both vehicles and components requiring body repairs, painting and valeting
