The Council wishes to procure the following work:\r The General Bridge Inspections (GBI) in November 2022 have highlighted some defects at Thrangholme Bridge and the following repairs are required:\r 1.
Vegetation and small tree removal throughout the whole structure.
Repair walls behind the\r vegetation.\r 2.
Replace spalled stone.
Repair the areas of open and cracked walls throughout the whole\r structure.\r 3.
Replace the missing coping stone.\r 4.
Replace/ repair and repoint area of missing and weathered masonry in the bridge arch\r intrados.\r 5.
Rake out and repoint areas of open and cracked mortar joints and mortar joints containing\r friable mortar with lime mortar.\r 6.
Clear out drainage.\r The contractor is required to undertake an inspection to identify the repair works and undertake the repairs on site.
