The brief

PLYMOUTH AND TORBAY COMMUNITY EQUIPMENT SERVICES TENDER INFORMATION EVENT Tuesday 2nd March 2pm to 4pm Online via Microsoft Teams Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council (in partnership with NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group) are currently planning a joint competitive tender exercise to procure Community Equipment Services.

The opportunity will be split into two lots, each for a separate contract for each local authority.

The new contracts are both expected to commence on 1st April 2022.

In preparation for this we will be hosting an online information event to provide an opportunity for interested equipment suppliers to find out more.

The event will comprise of two parts, the first will provide an overview of the future requirements of the Community Equipment Services in Plymouth and Torbay.

The second part will provide a run through of the tender process and what will be required at the different stages.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID19 restrictions we are unable to run this as a face-to-face gathering at this time, nonetheless this will be an opportunity to meet the commissioners live online and to ask questions.

Please note: this advert is for the information event only, attendance at this event is optional and does not form part of the formal tender process.

Information on how to register and participate in future competitive tendering opportunities will be posted as a separate opportunity on the Supplying the South West Portal (www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk) at a later date.

If you are interested in attending this event please submit your expression of interest, by midday Monday 1st March, via the opportunity on the Supplying the South West portal and use the message facility to provide email and contact details to which we can send the link to access the event.
