The brief

Brent Council is looking for suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide a programme to support the mental health needs of unaccompanied asylum seeking (UASC) children and young people, and former unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people in Brent.

This programme of work is being funded via Home Office funding, and the successful supplier will work with and support the Local Authority to address some of the key areas of presenting needs identified for this cohort.

The proposed programme of support will involve low-level therapeutic work in the form of case work and group work, and some social activities focused on achieving wellbeing, over 24 months from 5th September.
